Join a match
The host creates a match and shares a six-digit code. Select Join Match, enter the code and claim your player slot if applicable.
Live and offline
Online matches send scoring changes to the Courta server. If a device disconnects, reconnect or resume the same match to retrieve the latest official state.
Pair, connect and play
Open the settings cog on iPhone to check whether a Watch is paired and Courta is installed. From the Watch, join by code or resume an active match.
Choose one announcer
Enable voice on a single courtside device and pick the speaker using your phone's system audio output controls. This prevents every device announcing simultaneously.
Common questions
My Apple Watch cannot install Courta. What should I check?
Make sure the Watch is compatible with the current watchOS deployment target, paired, unlocked, charged and connected, and that the iPhone version is installed. Update watchOS if needed.
Can people without the app play?
Yes. A match creator can enter guest names manually. Only controllers who have Courta need to install the app.
Why is the scoreboard not changing?
Check that your device is connected to the match and online. Try reconnecting or resuming; Courta retrieves the server's authoritative score.
Can I remove a match from history?
Yes, from your personal history. This does not erase the same shared match from other players' records. To request deletion of your wider profile data, use the privacy request route.
